Welcome to the Story Play Village, a calm, imaginative play space designed for young children to explore, pretend, and create through play.
Our village is inspired by familiar stories and everyday experiences, inviting children to learn through hands-on exploration in a gentle, screen-free environment. Each space is thoughtfully designed to encourage creativity, language development, and social play at a child’s natural pace.
What Is the Story Play Village?
The Story Play Village is a curated play environment made up of cozy, story-inspired spaces where children can cook, build, care for animals, garden, shop, and imagine.
Instead of loud or overstimulating play, our village is intentionally designed to feel warm, welcoming, and unrushed. Children are encouraged to move freely between spaces, follow their interests, and engage in open-ended play.
This experience is especially well-suited for younger children and families looking for meaningful, calm play.
How Play Sessions Work
Play sessions are offered in one-hour blocks to keep the space comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Inside the Village
During play sessions, children are invited to move freely through a collection of thoughtfully designed spaces, each inspired by familiar stories and everyday moments.
Our village includes:
Cottage Kitchen for cooking, preparing, and sharing meals
Cottage Market for shopping, sorting, and imaginative role play
Cottage Barn for farm-inspired play and animal care
Cottage Garden for planting, tending, and exploring nature
Cottage Workshop for building, fixing, and creating
Cottage Stables for caring for horses and imaginative animal play
Cottage House for cozy, everyday pretend play
Cottage Transit for movement, travel, and storytelling on the go
Three Bears Theatre for dress-up, storytelling, and performance
Jungle Puppet Theatre for puppetry and imaginative storytelling
Wonderland Craft & Sensory Creating Space for open-ended creating and sensory exploration
Each space is designed to support storytelling, social play, problem-solving, and creativity in a calm, welcoming environment.
Children may choose where to play, how long to stay, and how their stories unfold.
Book Nook
Our Book Nook is always available during play sessions.
Families are welcome to sit and read together at any time during their visit. Parents may read to their children, or children may explore books independently as part of their play experience.
Story time is woven naturally into the space rather than structured, allowing children to engage with books in a relaxed, meaningful way.
What to Know Before You Visit
To help keep the village safe and enjoyable for everyone, we ask families to follow a few simple guidelines:
Gentle play only
Walking feet
No throwing toys
Grippy socks are required for children
No food or drinks in the play areas
A play participation waiver is required for all children.
Waivers may be completed online in advance or at check-in.
These expectations help maintain a calm environment for all families.
Older Siblings & Creative Play
Our Story Play Village is designed for younger children.
During play hours, we also offer self-guided creative activities for older children at our Creative Table. These activities are ideal for children who enjoy hands-on crafting and creating while younger siblings explore the village.
For the same $7 play fee, an older child may choose one craft to complete at the Creative Table during the play session.
Additional crafts may be available for an added fee.
Birthday Parties & Private Events
The Story Play Village is also available for private birthday parties and special celebrations.
We offer thoughtfully designed party experiences for both younger and older children, with sensory play and creative options tailored to each age group.
